WHAT IS A PARTY PROMOTER OR CLUB PROMOTER?

A promoter, in basic terms, is someone that is paid by a venue (club, bar, etc) to fill the spot with people on any given night. The promoter can be paid per person that shows up, a flat fee for the night, or off a percentage of sales. Sales could be drink sales, or ticket sales.
